Wow. My new kitten, Spidey, really scares me sometimes. With a look like that, I think he’s going to kill me while I sleep…

What can I say really. The second half was amazing, but you can’t win when a referee does not understand the rules.
A smart man once told me that if the entire game comes down to one call or play, then you weren’t meant to win anyway…
Such is the life of being an Eagles fan.
Time to watch the Steelers / Ravens game. I mean come on, if the Ravens win, I think we all can admit that a Ravens / Cardinals SuperBowl has to be one of the least cared about sporting events in a LONG time…
Dan Wetzel is an award-winning sportswriter, author and screenwriter. He has covered all levels of basketball as well as college football, the NFL, MLB and NHL.
He also makes sense when it comes to Philly’s Donovan McNabb:
Yet there’s a strange juxtaposition with McNabb. (And with him, isn’t there always something?) He’s a sympathetic and popular figure all across America. Except in one town – Philadelphia.
Philadelphia fans get a bad rap. They’re painted as unreasonable and nasty when intense and demanding is more accurate. They are forever dealing with the day back in the 1960s when some people booed Santa Claus (who may have been drunk and deserved it).
Whatever. If you’re going to label Philly fans dogs, then at least acknowledge that while they can be as mean as pit bulls, they’re also as loyal as golden retrievers.
The Eagles would never need extra time to sell out a playoff game to avoid a local blackout as Arizona did two weeks ago. Never.
That about says it. It’s the same across the board, The Flyers, The Phillies, The Eagles, the list goes on and on…
Wow. Uh, wow.
Wow. Holy frick wow.
If I had all the money in the world and ever again ever had to worry about spending or saving a single dollar, I wouldn’t have bet a dime on the Eagles beating the frickin Giants.
Wow.
Wow, I love Flyers road trips. The Orange and Black played a game in Anaheim this evening versus the Ducks. Game time was 10PM Eastern, and of course, the game went into an overtime shootout.
Whew. My nerves can’t take the shootout. Big win for the Flyers though, and the game finally ended 5-4 Flyers at 12:54AM.
Tomorrow night’s game starts at 10:30PM Eastern. Let’s hope that doesn’t go into OT as well…
